My Life Is Abundant
Look around you. The new year is upon us and many of us make resolutions to change a habit or acquire something we desire.
Yet, why is the focus always on what we don’t have?
What if we change the focus to what we already have, as well as what we have accomplished? Abundance is an enormous amount of anything: Happiness, money, love, accomplishments, shoes, whatever. By following the laws of attraction, anything we desire we can attract more of, simply by appreciating what we already possess.
I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “the rich get richer.” It’s an excellent example of the law of attraction. But what if you’re not rich, how do you attract what you don’t have?
Try this:
Put a $100 bill in your wallet. Next time you are at a store instead of thinking, “I wish i could afford that,” say to yourself, “I could buy that if I want to. It could be mine.” You will almost feel the $100 in your wallet. But don’t buy it.
Without actually making the purchase you’ve turned the tables and projected abundance. Next, pay attention to what you attract. It could be money found in the pocket of an old coat, or a rebate you forgot you mailed in. Somehow, it will come back to you.
The same works for love, happiness–even employment. In order to land that job, you must work hard at the job you have, even if it’s something you never wanted to do. Be the best at it and other opportunities will appear. If you want someone to love you, you must show love to others. If you desire happiness, you must project happiness.
By appreciating the existing abundance in our lives, the rewards are limitless.
Happy New Year, and may this be your best year ever!
