Welcome to the JMF WINTER SPIN CHALLENGE!
Eight weeks + 30 spin classes = Exclusive JMF SPIN shirt (and bragging rights)
The rules are simple:
A $5 entry fee gets your name on the spin board.
Get a mark next to your name for each spin class completed.
Complete 30 spin classes (any spin class on the schedule is valid) between February 1 and March 31.
Win an exclusive JMF SPIN shirt.
You can sign up for the challenge with any spin instructor. Last day to enter is February 7. Classes will be counted beginning on the entry date. Instructors will mark the board, so please make sure to let them know if you are in the challenge. Wednesday 4:30 p.m. class will count as one class (whether you stay for the hour or leave at 5pm) .

Top 10 Reasons to LOVE Spin Class
CALORIE BURN
Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a newbie trying to drop a few pounds nothing beats a spin class for easy calorie burn. An hour of spinning at a moderate pace burns 425-625 calories!

You’ll definitely see progress as you tone up those legs and butt, add in the calorie burn and sculpted lower body is on the way!
CORE STRENGTH
In order to keep your legs moving, your core muscles fire to keep up the rhythm and hold you in position on the bike. Strong core with no crunches-awesome.
EASIER ON THE KNEES
Spinning is a great low impact workout that is easy on knees and feet, accommodating ailments and injuries . It can improve joint and tendon health, and because its low impact, has longevity over other high impact cardio classes.
BRAIN BREAK
No multitasking in this class! With nothing to do but ride, your brain gets a chance to relax and wander. A much needed hour of mental me time.
COMRADERY
Completing a tough spin class will instantly bond you with those who also made it through. Friends to motivate and cheer you on make class a healthy social event.
SINGING ALONG
Awesome playlists not only get your legs moving but also your lips! Sing along to your favorites – and see how the class flies by.
