TRX Suspension Training: Master Gravity

 

You’ve seen them hanging in the JMF Studio, the TRX Suspension Trainers are up and ready to rock!

TRX Classes

For some they look exciting, for others intimidating, for Linda Quinn, our in house TRX master, they are exhilarating and full of possibilities The suspension trainers are a great new addition to the Jen Murphy Fitness summer schedule beginning May 15. They will not only be incorporated into the Kutt Circuit classes, but they will also be the focus of a Kutt Suspension class on Wednesdays at 5 p.m., which will be taught by Linda.

But What is Suspension Training?

According to TRX, suspension training was “born in the Navy SEALs.” And “Suspension Training bodyweight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a highly portable performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete 100s of exercises.”

FREE TRX Intro Classes Coming Up…

Not sure if your up to the workout? Linda will be teaching FREE Intro to TRX classes Thursdays, April 27, May 4, and May 11 at 5 p.m. These classes will teach you the basics in form, set-up, and function that will ensure you get a safe and amazingly effective workout each time you grab the handles.

Linda Quinn: Experience Counts!

In addition to Suspension Training, Linda also teaches Kutt Weights, Kutt Barre and Kutt Circuit classes. When she is not at the gym she spends her days as an Exercise Physiologist, and licensed physical therapist assistant. She has been an ACSM certified Group fitness instructor and personal trainer for 20 years, and holds speciality certifications in Barre and TRX suspension training.
