On flexibility, Tiger Woods said,
“Flexibility training is a major component of my regimen. My trainer uses different systems to maintain the flexibility I need to be able to release a powerful swing. I stretch up to 40 minutes before each workout. Then I work on my muscles and joints from my spine to my toes — to create balance and freedom of movement.”
And now, Hot Yoga is back at Jen Murphy Fitness.
Beat the chilly winter blues with an hour of hot (room is 90 degrees) Vinyasa Flow Yoga taught by Nancy Kearon. Friday nights, beginning February 14th, upstairs at the Studio 5:30-6:30pm. The classes are $10 at the door and FREE to members. No prior yoga experience is needed. Please bring water and a towel.
Nancy has been practicing yoga since 1975 beginning in Key West Florida. Her true dedication to a practice began in the year 2000. Since then she has studied all over the country with many prominent yogis. Nancy has studied extensively at the Himalayan Institute in Pennsylvania and at the Living and Sharing Yoga Studios in New Hampshire. She has earned the distinction as an ERYT thru Yoga Alliance and am certified to lead “Teacher Training” as a certified yoga school with Yoga Alliance ,the only nationally recognized yoga training school. Nancy has recently moved to the Milford area after closing her own yoga studio in Western Pennsylvania. Her message to students is: “Come to your mat with an open heart and mind, and a willingness to receive what you need to receive from today’s practice.”
