300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Jen Murphy Fitness

Nancy Kearon, 500 Hour E-RYT, is offering a 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training for graduates of any 200 Hour YTT program, from any lineage, beginning October 19, in Milford, Pennsylvania. If you’ve been looking to further extend and expand your practice, this may be the program for you.

No Need to Stay in Town – No Need to Take Time Off of Work

If the time commitment and the cost have held you back from other 300-hour programs, our program is local, and it’s less expensive. Located at The Yoga Studio at Jen Murphy Fitness in Milford Pennsylvania, we are convenient to the three-corners where Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey intersect. Jen Murphy Fitness is centrally located to Dingmans Ferry, Hawley, Stroudsburg, and Scranton, Pennsylvania; Port Jervis, Middletown, Warwick, and Orange County, New York; Montague, Branchville and Sparta, New Jersey, and only an hour from parts of Morris County.

The program meets 12 weekends, with graduation during July 2019. Other programs require residence for 10-12 day segments, which can double the cost and require many to stop working in order to attend.

Why You? Why Me?

With our love of yoga, we can further our practices and studies. We can deepen our understanding of many different styles of yoga, and the principles and techniques of the practice and teaching yoga on a deeper and subtler level. Working in a supportive environment, we can fine-tune our teaching skills to become confident all-levels teachers and teachers of teachers. We’ll study the practices, philosophy, and the business of yoga to help us on our chosen path.

300 Hour Training

With so many yoga teachers trained at the 200 Hour level, this program will help us identify what gifts set us apart. It will also strengthen our connection to a larger community of qualified teachers and yogis. We’ll read The Upanishads, The Bhagavad Gita, Discovering Your Soul Signature and Living Beautifully with Uncertainty and Change, developing our understanding of ourselves.

Inspiring Instructors

We can “fill our cups” and have fun, studying with inspiring teachers qualified at the 500 Hour level including, Lead Trainer Nancy Kearon, who is owner, and director of this 300 hour program, Assistant Co-lead Trainers Maggie Lehrian and Theresa Novak, and 500-Hour RYTs Corrine Farrell, Priya Idgunji, Beth Spindler, and Anne Mavers. Dr. Anthony Varriano will help us deepen our understanding and practice of meditation. Finally, Gabriel Shubert, owner of Tamerlaine Farm Sanctuary, will help us explore Ahimsa and Seva.
